Let Loose on Lincoln

The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce and The Winnetka Park District will be partnering on “Let Loose on Lincoln” street-festival that will run on Saturday, July 21, 2pm to 8 pm, in conjunction with the Winnetka-Northfield Sidewalk Sale. “Let Loose on Lincoln” will take place on Lincoln Avenue, south of Elm Street. Lincoln Avenue will be closed to create a festive street fair environment.
There will be a classic car show, music, food, a beer and wine tent.

After shopping the Sidewalk Sale in Winnetka and Northfield stop by Lincoln Avenue with your family and friends. Local bands will be performing on a stage set up on Lincoln Avenue from early afternoon until evening. The highlight of the evening will be a performance by King Saturday. “King Saturday blends straight-forward roots rock with a melodic, harmonious core. Toss in a pinch of country twang, a dash of jam band flavor and mix liberally. Big guitars, lush vocal harmonies and driving rock rhythms make for a compelling, original sound and stage show.” There will be food available at “Let Loose on Lincoln” as well as a beer and wine garden. This event will be the highlight of midsummer. The chamber hopes to make this event an annual event.

The Classic Cars of the North Shore will feature 25 vintage and classic cars from the area. Attached is more information and an application to be a part of the Classic Car show.
